Notts Athletic Club will be running a Athletics Coaching Camp for Young Athletes aged 8-15 from Monday 13th - Friday 17th February (10am-3pm) at Harvey Hadden Sports Complex, NG8 4PB.
The week will give young athletes a great opportunity to learn new skills, get fit, have fun and make some new friends while having a go at all the events involved in athletics. The sessions will be run by qualified coaches who are all CRB checked and fully insured.
The cost for the week is £50.00 (20% Discount to Notts AC & Nottinghamshire Athletic Network Clubs)

MANSFIELD HARRIERS &A.C. 2012 LONDON MARATHON TRIP

For the attention of anyone involved with the organisation of road races.
Earlier this year the Nottinghamshire Athletics Network organised a Traffic Mgt
Course which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to lack of support.
The Network is proposing to include another Road Traffic Mgt Course in its
programme of events for 2012.
The purpose of this email is to canvass your views on whether a course is likely
to be supported and if so preferences on dates.
ANY DATE WOULD BE SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF TUTORS.
We have provisionally pencilled in Saturday 5th May as a proposed date.
Can you please advise me if you would be prepared to support this course and
your preferred date.
Please note that I have already had a couple of verbal comments that May is too
late in the year and a request that we consider an earlier date. For any date we
would need at least 3 months notice to arrange a tutor and venue.
We would need at least 15 candidates to make a course viable. Last time we
intended that the course would be for race organisers from Nottinghamshire only.
If we hold a course in 2012 it would be an OPEN course which would allow people
from outside of the county to apply.
