Inter Counties XC

Race info
Team selection for the Intercounties will be based largely on performances in the county champs. Selection criteria attached. Steve Davies will be Men's team manager.

At present Nottinghamshire does not have a team manager for women and girls.
At its meeting on Monday 7th December the Executive of Nottinghamshire AAA discussed the need for a volunteer to manager the women's teams at the Inter counties Cross Country Championships.
Despite attempts to recruit a volunteer no one has come forward.
The Executive has decided that unless a volunteer can be found by 4th January 2016 no female teams will be entered in the 2016 Inter Counties Cross Country Championships.
Any individual who is prepared to volunteer to take on the role of Women's Cross Country Team Manager should make contact with either Gareth Bagguley ( Notts X/C Sec), Steve Roe (Chair Notts AAA) or David Lisgo (Sec Notts AAA) immediately. A note of the key functions of the post holder is attached.
Notts AAA does have a men's cross country team manager who is Steve Davies (Mansfield Harriers) and male teams will be entered for the Inter Counties. The Association also has volunteers who manage other county teams including Sen Track and Field, YA Track and Field, Sportshall and Fell Running.
Please share this information around your club and with as many people as possible who are interested in cross country running and try to encourage a volunteer to pick up this role. The volunteer can be an athlete, a coach, a parent.
