Track & Field

** County Champs Update **
In light of Government guidance and following our County Championship planning meeting we have regrettably had to cancel the County Track & Field Championship due to be held in May 2021. We are hoping to put on at least one open grading meeting later in the year to provide some competition for our athletes. Further information will be made available when we are able to confirm dates and venue.

** Summer League Update **

It has been decided that no Summer League races will be run before June. We are still hopeful of putting on a 4 race series beginning at Wollaton Park on 16th June but obviously this is dependent on Government and England Athletics guidance. More details will follow when possible.

Fell Running

Hello all

The Notts Fell Championships for 2021 will be a single race hosted by an event sometime in the late summer / early autumn and most likely in September. This will be dependent on racing being permitted by the FRA and that a suitable event can accommodate our fell championships. Because of the uncertainty surrounding racing this year, I hope you will understand that at this time I cannot be more specific regarding race details or in giving a guarantee that there will be a fell championships in 2021.

As soon as further information regarding the fell championships becomes available it will be posted on this website and passed to Notts club secretaries.

Cross Country

Nottinghamshire Schools Athletics Association have been notified that the English Schools Cross Country event due to be held in Kent on March 13th 2021 is cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The County Schools event due to be held on 6th February is also cancelled. These decisions have been made within government guidelines.

ESAA are hoping to put on a virtual competition towards Easter.  Details will be published as soon as they are available. (Please note athletes must attend a Nottinghamshire School and verification will be made by a teacher or coach.)
