TRAVEL DIRECTIONS:

From M1 Junction 26 follow the A610 towards Nottingham for ¼ mile to a large roundabout. Take the second exit onto Low Wood Road, after ¾ mile you come to the next roundabout, carry straight on for ½ mile to a set of traffic lights. Turn left into Bulwell Hall Park and follow the signs to the car park on the grass adjacent to the start and finish area. Sat Nav post code: NG6 8LF.

AGE LIMITS:

Ages as at 31st August 2023 for all age groups from under 13 upwards, except Masters where age on the day of the race will apply.

Under 11 Boys and Girls - 9 on the day of the race and under 11 on 31st August 2023 (school years 5 & 6)

Runners aged 11 on the day of the race can choose to run in the Under 13 races if they wish.

Under 13’s are school years 7 & 8, under 15’s are school years 9 & 10, under 17’s are school years 11 & 12.

Masters Men 35-44, 45-54, 55-64,65-74, over 75 on the day of the race     

Masters Women   35-44, 45-54, 55-64,65-74 Over 75 on the day of the race

 

TEAMS:

Under 17/20 women will be a combined team competition using any combination of runners (3 to score).

Senior Men which will be 6 to score, Veteran Men 4 to score, all others 3 to score.

There is NO Under 20 Men’s team competition.

Under 20 and Veteran Men may score in a Senior Men’s team.

Teams will be scored using the first required number of athletes 6/4/3 to finish.  B teams etc would score the next 6/4/3 whatever number required for that age group.

Masters Men and Masters Women who wish to score as separate veteran teams must be declared otherwise they will be included in the senior team.  Please declare your teams at the registration desk on the day.

 

All race numbers to be collected on the day.

Athletes will NOT be allowed to run without wearing their number.

 

Affiliated individual runners are to wear club/school, County, Area or International vests.  Athletes wearing any other vest risk disqualification unless they have the Referee’s permission.

Unattached athletes may wear whatever vest they wish. Athletes may only run in track or cross country races unattached for one year, after which time they must join a club.

All team members must wear their club vests. 

 

QUALIFICATION:

Runners must have been born in or, have been a resident for at least 9 months prior to the day of the competition in Nottinghamshire.  Runners are ineligible if they have competed in another County

Championships or represented another County in the 12 months prior to the championships. All entrants in u13 age groups upwards must be EA registered

CAR PARKING:  Please park as requested by marshals.

All athletes are advised to arrive early.  Access to the car park is along a single lane road and access will be slow (or park off site).
 
TOILETS: Located in the changing room block to the left of the Clubhouse entrance. No muddy footwear in the Clubhouse. Please show respect for the facilities which the management have generously allowed us to use.
 
REGISTRATION: In the golf clubhouse and will be signed.  Age group team managers only to collect race numbers at least 60 minutes before the start of each race. Please note there will be NO safety pins available at registration - please bring your own.
 
COURSE MAP: will be on display near the registration area. The course is very wet with areas of standing water. It is all grass / parkland with the
exception of two very short sections of hardcore on the large lap only.
 
REFRESHMENTS: Refreshments are available in the Clubhouse where there is a range of food and drink at very reasonable prices.

RESULTS: will be posted near the registration area when they are available.

 

  • Please dispose of your litter in the bins provided.
  • Please respect all other Park users, they have the right to be there and the future use of this Park depends on our conduct.
  • There is a new small tree plantation adjacent to the start / finish area. This will be fenced off, please do not enter and damage the saplings.
  • Notts AAA and Derbys wish all athletes and spectators a good days cross country athleticsand sincerely thank the management of Bulwell Hall Park for the use of their facilities.

U11 age group - £3.00

Standard Entry (EA Affiliated) - £7.00

Standard Entry (Unaffiliated) - £14.00

 

UKA Anti-Doping Rules:

An entrant shall be deemed to have made him/herself/their self, familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.  The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the [date of entry], whether or not the licence holder is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.

 

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES WILL BE SATURDAY 16th DECEMBER 2023

Absolutely NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted

 

Online Entry Information:

Team Entries:

  • In order to enter multiple athletes, you must first add them as Sub Users. This can be done from the 'My Account' section when you log in.
  • Team Managers may use their own contact details on the Sub User profile page.
  • Once your Sub Users have been added, you will then be able to select them when entering an event online through the website. These will also be stored in your account for any future events, so you won't need to add them again.

 

Child Entries/Accounts:

  • If you wish to enter at least one child under the age of 18, you can do so by creating Sub User accounts within your main user account.  This can be done from the 'My Account' section when you log in.  Once a child has reached 18, you will have the option to upgrade the account, which will allow them to take control of their own account.

  • Your registration details will show in 'My Events' in your account.
  • All race numbers will be allocated after the closing date on 16th December.
